Pinterest Question

I have a question about posting items from Pinterest.  They have changed some thing and I don't know what to do anymore.  It was so easy before.   All I did in the past was pick the pin I wanted

Then click on the forward icon in the top right corner.

Then select the build t for the pin widget.

To get the code to load.

And then copy and paste the code lines into the HTML page to get the pin to appear.

So not the pin I want. And it happens with every pin I have tried for the last couple of months.  So what am I doing wrong?

Southwestern Soup

I spent most of Saturday going through my cookbooks looking for a recipe to try this week.   The temp are warmer this week but soup still sounded like a good option.  This one is from Southern Living.

1 pound ground beef
1 c. coarsely chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 (16 oz) cans light red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (15 oz) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14.5 oz) can petite diced tomatoes and jalape├▒os, undrained
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes and mild green chiles, undrained
1 (14 oz) can beef broth
2 c. frozen yellow and white whole kernel corn
1 envelope taco seasonings mix
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
top with sour cream and chopped fresh cilantro

Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring often, 10 to 12 minutes or until meat crumbles and is no longer pink and onion is softened; drain.
Stir in kidney beans, next 8 ingredients, and 4 cups of water.  Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.  Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 30 minutes or until thoroughly hated.  Stir in cilantro just before serving.
Serve with desired toppings.

This turned out amazing.  I could only find frozen yellow corn and forgot the fresh cilantro so I used the dry I had on hand.  I topped mine with cheese.  This will go into my list to make and put away every winter.

Day Dreaming

What is a person to do during their lunch hour when the high outside is 25┬║?  You plan your dream graduation trip or at least that is what I did today.  It is at least another year before I get to graduate with this degree but a girl has the right to dream.  You would think these icy temps would have me looking at beach locations but not me.

I have dreamed of going to Greece for several years.  I wanted to see all the ancient ruins in Athens.

But after watching the movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (don't judge) adding Santorini to that list.

Who wouldn't want some of these views added to some history lessons?

A second would be Scotland.
I was playing around on the European Destinations website and they have a package labeled Whiskey and Castles.  Sign me up!

A good tie in or alone to Scotland would be Ireland.

Every picture I see is so beautiful.

And while we are exploring Europe let's add in Italy.
I picked Venice.

and Rome.

The one place I have dreamed of going since age 11 is Egypt.  But facing reality it is not the safest of places to visit.  But I still looked into a trip.

I better start saving now if any of these is to become a reality.
