Easter Weekend

I spent Easter weekend hanging out with S & family.  Saturday I headed down to their house for us to dye Easter eggs.   This is the first year H really knew what was going on.  It was great to watch his face through it all.  When I first got there we played outside until P got there.  He got so excited and started running out to see me until he remembered he wanted me to pull him in his wagon and went running back and climbed in it.

Look at how excited his face is when the first egg comes out.

Watching the eggs dye.

H was determined to help.  Lots of paper towels were used to clean up the dye that was spilled on the island.

The finished products.  I picked up the set with car stickers and wraps.

After a naps we headed out to Cedar Hill Farm for an Easter egg hunt and pony ride.

We met up with our friend CR and her son.

There was a limit of 12 eggs per child and they turned in the plastic eggs for candy.

H was serious about the egg hunting.

A pretty pond just outside the field and we took pics.

excuse the no make up and running clothes.  Was only planning on something that wouldn't care about dying eggs in.

Selecting the treats.

The beginning of the pony ride.  The pics didn't turn out so well.

It was a great way to spend a beautiful Saturday.

We all went to S's parents for lunch on Sunday.  And her mom had a great basket for me.
